Cruise for a Cause includes a cruise across the San Francisco Bay and features live music by the Royal Society Jazz Orchestra, gourmet dinner, libations, and an auction with packages including an African safari, tour of Southeast Asia and a hybrid electric bicycle.

Boarding will begin promptly at 5:45pm, and the cruise will depart at 6pm and commence at 9pm. The location for boarding and disembarking will take place at San Francisco’s Ferry Building Piers at the end of Market Street in the Embarcadero.

Tickets are $250 per person and are limited to the first 100 people.  A link to purchase tickets can be found by visiting the website of YachtAid Global. All proceeds from this event will go toward YachtAid Global operations as it utilizes a network of yachts to deliver aid such as school supplies, medical equipment and disaster relief, to schools, medical clinics, cultural centers and other organizations in need—many of which other aid organizations cannot reach due to their remote and isolated locations.

Since 2006, YachtAid Global has made over 50 deliveries totaling over $300,000 and has benefited the lives of over 15,000 people. In the past year, YachtAid Global has made deliveries to Fiji, Galapagos Islands, Robinson Crusoe Island and Isles Secas off the coast of Panama. Approximately 12 more deliveries are scheduled for the remainder of 2013 and the beginning of 2014.
