The World Superyacht Awards is a fantastic annual event held to acknowledge and honour the best luxury yachts on the planet. This year the ceremony took place at the Palazzo Vecchio in Italy on the 13th of May. The superyacht owners and industry leaders participated in the event filled with excitement and thrill to find out the names of the best superyachts launched throughout 2016. Here are the winners.

Legend is available for charters from EUR 460,000 per week plus expenses. She carries plenty of water toys, including a submarine, and can cruise literally anywhere int the world.

Judges’ Special Award for Quality & Value:

33.40m motor yacht NARVALO

Cantiere delle Marche motor yacht Narvalo was acknowledged for her great design, quality and price, and was named a perfect example of a ‘pocket explorer yacht’. Narvalo is a fantastic superyacht for cruising in the shallow waters of the Caribbean that also stands out with her excellent features of an explorer vessel. Spacious interior spaces, long range, seaworthiness and toys and tenders storage space make this 33.40m yacht one of the nicest charter yachts.

 Judges’ Special Award for Achievement –

50m motor yacht CHASSEUR

The award winner motor yacht Chasseur was named one of the best vessel launched by Christensen Shipyard. The judges acknowledged that Chasseur was built during the difficult times and marked the reopening of the yard. Chasseur boasts slim exterior lines with timeless design and offers airy and bright exterior spaces. This 50m charter vessel is available in various parts of the world.

Judges’ Special Award for Outstanding video:

43m motor yacht LATITUDE

With a help of drones Anil Thadani, the owner of the superyacht, produced a fantastic video of Latitude’s journey in the icy waters of the Svalbard Archipelago. You can watch the video below:
