The third hull from the Italian shipyard Ocean King, the Ocean King 130, has been delivered to her new owners and will be on display at the Monaco Yacht Show running form the 27th-30th of September.

Explorer yacht GENESIA – First hull in the Ocean King 130 range

Named GENESIA, the 40m/131ft flagship has a gross tonnage of 650 and is constructed entirely of steel. Designed as an expedition yacht for oceanic conditions, she is capable of handling rough seas while providing comfortable surroundings for 10-12 guests across 5-6 cabins.

Explorer yacht GENESIA comes with a number of amenities for exploration and entertaining, including a touch-and-go helipad, extensive exterior living spaces and a beach club. The interiors are designed by Andrea Vallicelli and Cantieri Navali Chioggia (CNC) created her naval architecture.

Twin CAT C32 970kW engines provide a top speed of 13.5 knots and she has a cruising speed of 12 knots with a range of 7,500 nautical miles. The second hull is currently available for purchase in the unusual currency of Bitcoins and is priced at Ƀ 3846.
