Sunseeker has taken the concept of series building with personal customisation one step further.  The modular build methodology enables the new owners to have substantial personal input into the interior design and layout via the yards ‘Bespoke’ service. The stunning images reveal the impressive new layout and design of this latest custom interior.

The Sunseeker team is approaching the halfway stage in the construction process with the hull, deck and superstructure fully moulded, engines and gearbox installed and painting of the superstructure underway.   The traditional ‘all white’ yacht will now move into the second stage of development, which will see the interior brought to glorious life by the talented Sunseeker team.

Luxury yacht Project Gold Diamond is an impressive fusion of engineering perfection and truly breathtaking design.  Featuring an elegant interior throughout, it has a more ‘classic’ feel than the first ‘155 Yacht’ superyacht Blush which has already reached the finalist stage of the renowned ShowBoats Design Awards 2015.

The new Project Gold Diamond yacht will be powered by an impressive Twin 16V 4000 series MTU M93, which will deliver an increased top speed of up to 24 knots.

Alongside the remarkable engineering and stunning exterior structure, the interior is sure to delight and inspire Sunseeker lovers across the world.  The master stateroom in particular, features spectacular floor-to-ceiling windows which create a dramatic feeling of light and space while offering the most spectacular views.

Boasting impressive accommodation with six cabins for up to 12 guests in ultimate style and luxury, the forward lower deck area can accommodate up to 10 crew with a separate captain’s cabin located adjacent to the wheelhouse.

The upper saloon features a full-length stone finished bar and an additional secondary dining area which offers a less formal dining experience than the principal arrangement located on the main deck.  Yet another highlight is the spectacular port-side balcony which offers uninterrupted views.

The 155 Yacht features exquisite design touches throughout but it is perhaps the addition of a sauna to the Beach Club which is creating the biggest stir with potential customers.  This extravagant feature is yet another example of the custom approach Sunseeker is able to consider when dealing with clients through its ‘Bespoke’ service.

Sean Robertson, Sales Director at Sunseeker International said: “The first 155 Yacht was a truly magnificent sight to behold and a stunning fusion of precision engineering and contemporary design.  Although a more ‘classic’ interpretation, the latest yacht will surely be met with the same reception when it is completed in early 2016 due to yet more innovative features and custom choices.

“As the largest yacht we have ever built, the 155 is testament to the dedication and passion of the Sunseeker team who bring together the very best of British engineering and design talent. We are immensely proud.”

The latest ‘Sunseeker 155 Yacht’ super yacht Project Gold Diamond is scheduled for completion in early 2016 and will be available for luxury yacht charter shortly after.

The award ceremony now in its sixth year recognises the creativity behind the most innovative and inspiring new yachts. What’s more Sunseeker’s nomination has been made all the more special by the fact that the stunning tri-deck Blush yacht is the largest yacht the British manufacturer has ever made.

Commissioned by Eddie Jordan on behalf of the Jordan Family trust, Blush superyacht is the epitome of sophistication. The biggest project ever undertaken by the British luxury yacht manufacturer, ‘Blush’ is of particular significance to Sunseeker as it takes the concept of a series build with personal customisation even further. The modular build methodology allowed Formula 1 star Eddie Jordan to have a direct input on the interior design and layout of the yacht, as well as on the superstructure of the yacht.

In addition the forward lower deck area can accommodate up to 10 crew with a separate captain’s cabin located on the Upper Deck next to the wheelhouse.

While the spacious and stylish private accommodation is clearly one of the most appealing features of Sunseeker’s flagship yacht, it is the expanse of entertainment space which makes it truly stand out. The upper deck alone features a huge sky lounge which can be dedicated to private entertainment. While the main deck features a large saloon and formal dining area.

The level of sophistication found in Blush yacht’s interior is further enhanced by its unique design palette, which blends grey, blue, green tones to create an overall chic aqua feel.

Sunseeker to attend CWM FX London Boat Show 2015 with an amazing collection of luxury yachts on display

December 18, 2014

Sunseeker International will debut the all-new motor yacht Predator 57 at the CWM FX London Boat Show 2015. She will be showcased together with an amazing collection of the most talked 2014 Sunseeker models, including Sunseeker 86 Yacht, the Sunseeker 75 Yacht, as well as Manhattan 65 yacht, all of which were launched this year.

Sunseeker 86 Yacht

Sunseeker 86 Yacht

The groundbreaking new Predator 57 yacht has been three years in the making and, as with every new Sunseeker introduction, it is set to steal the show in London.

The Predator 57 yacht breaks new ground for Sunseeker by eliminating the need for a choice between an open or closed style yacht. Helping to blur the gap between the two, it features an electric door between the saloon area and the cockpit.

Unique to this model, the cleverly engineered mechanism allows the door to open conventionally, but also lower itself into the sole.  This discreet patio door allows those onboard to take advantage of uninterrupted views; creating a seamless inside/outside entertaining area from the forward helm right through to the bathing platform.  The open-plan design is further enhanced by the addition of a fully opening hardtop roof as standard.

The interior accommodation is just as impressive with the three cabins, sleeping up to six guests, testament to this.  The full-beam master stateroom, which comes with a generous en suite, achieves the perfect blend of comfort and elegance while the forward VIP cabin exudes a light yet luxurious feel and further exemplifies the extraordinary high standards Sunseeker is so well known for.

The new luxury yacht Predator 57 certainly doesn’t sacrifice performance at the cost of style. With speeds of up to 40 knots (depending on the engine/drive option chosen) it cuts an impressive figure on the open water.

86 Yacht

The stunning Sunseeker 86 Yacht on show couples flawless design with world-class engineering to deliver a thrilling and powerful performance.  The streamlined profile of the yacht also means it offers the grace and agility often found in a much smaller yacht.

The magnificent motor yacht Sunseeker 86 exudes sophistication and luxury and with a four cabin arrangement, it can accommodate up to eight guests.  However, it is the full-beam master stateroom which is the focal point of its accommodation courtesy of its truly capacious volume.  The Sunseeker interior design team has used the space to maximum effect, creating a tranquil and comfortable sanctuary.

If the interior of the 86 Yacht embodies contemporary sophistication, then it is matched only by the yacht’s magnificent outdoor space.  The large flybridge provides a beautiful open-air entertaining spot, where you can take in the sights of the open water.  This vast area is so expansive it even offers the possibility of a spa tub.

Manhattan 65

The Manhattan 65 yacht exudes an expanse of space and a beautiful, sleek profile.  Its cutting-edge design has redefined the parameters for interiors and created a new DNA for mid-range yachts.  The open plan layout adds to the light feeling of the Manhattan 65 and amplifies the vast space available, including an open galley housing versatile storage and features leading-brand appliances.

75 Yacht

Finally, the brilliantly capable Sunseeker 75 Yacht has been crafted to perfection using the very latest materials and techniques to create an outstanding yacht. Those owners dedicated to serious cruising will recognize a galley and dining area designed to maximise available space whilst after dinner, the main saloon offers a sophisticated yet comfortable environment in which to relax. Careful design of the opulent sofas are sure to encourage sociability amongst guests.

However, the most notable feature in this area of the 75 Yacht is not its 50” television, but the ‘z’ shaped panoramic glazing and hull windows.  This offers breathtaking views of the open waters whilst flooding the main saloon with natural light, creating the illusion of being on board an even larger yacht.  The spacious nature of the yacht is continued in the interior thanks to its four cabins; three double suites and a twin bed guest arrangement.

Sean Robertson, Sales Director at Sunseeker International, commented: “The London Boat Show is always extremely exciting as it is the first show of the year and I am delighted we are launching yet another brand new model, the eagerly awaited Predator 57.  With some of our most recent models also on display, it is a fantastic opportunity for guests to see our latest range of beautiful yachts and we look forward to welcoming all visitors.”

The Predator 57 will make its world premiere at London Boat Show from 9th to 18th January 2015. The full range on display includes: 28M Yacht, 86 Yacht, 75 Yacht, 68 Sport Yacht, Manhattan 65, Predator 57, Manhattan 55, San Remo and Portofino 40.

Marine industry contributes to two million apprenticeship milestone

December 17, 2014

The UK government has fulfilled its commitment to starting two million apprenticeships in this Parliament, highlighting the role of apprenticeships in giving people the skills they need to get on and in supporting businesses of all sizes to grow their talent. The Business Secretary, Vince Cable, announced 22 new employer-designed apprenticeships in professions, comprising boatbuilding.

The employers, who are part of the government’s trailblazer scheme, design apprenticeships to meet the needs of their industries making sure people have the right skills to get on in the world of work. Within this scheme, a new boatbuilding apprenticeship is being developed by employers working together to design standards in their occupations and sectors.

Co-ordinated by the British Marine Federation (BMF), the employer led group to encourage apprentices in the marine industry is led by Berthon Boat Company. BMF member companies taking part include Sunseeker International, Princess Yachts, Pioneer Sailing Trust, Pendennis Shipyard, Fairline Boats, Broom Boats, Green Marine, English Harbour Yachts, RNLI, Windboats and Cockwells.

The Business Secretary said: “Reaching the two millionth apprenticeship is testament to this government’s commitment to apprenticeships and employers are a shining example of how apprenticeships give young people the chance to start a career and give businesses the talent to grow.

“This isn’t just about numbers. From space engineering, to TV production, to boatbuilding, apprenticeships are the ticket to a great job and a route employers trust to access the skills they need.”
