Maxwell partners with Vitters on superyacht Inoui and the 46m Dubois hull 3067 yacht

The prominent Dutch builder, Vitters, is currently working on the construction of the beautiful 33m (108ft) sailing yacht Inoui – a performance sloop developed by Philippe Briand. The hull is being built at Green Marine in Hythe, United Kingdom. The Inoui superyacht’s carbon hull as well as superstructure will arrive at the yard in May 2012. Maxwell received the order for a completely customized below deck, submarine type windlass system. This system comprises a VWC4500 windlass with remotely operated band brake and roller/chainstopper, along with chain.

Vitters also has the 46m Dubois sailing yacht hull 3067 in build. For this aluminium performance cruiser Maxwell has received the order for a twin VWC6000 installation. Including chainstoppers, remotely operated band brakes and stainless steel base plates for the entire windlass arrangements. The hull recently arrived at the yard where she will be finished to be launched in 2013.

Maxwell New Zealand Superyacht supplies anchoring system for 49 m yacht ‘Nassima’

Maxwell, the New Zealand producer of superior anchoring solutions, has recently received the order for the supply of anchor windlasses for the motor yacht ‘Nassima’.

This luxurious 49 meter ‘Nassima’ yacht has been designed by Olivier van Meer Design and is being built by Acico Yachts in Enkhuizen (The Netherlands). She will be launched in 2012.

Maxwell will supply the complete anchoring system for the Nassima superyacht. This consists of two VW11000 anchor windlasses with a maximum pull of 5,320 kg, two VC8000 capstans with a maximum pull of 4,050 kg, two 430 kg anchors with a sandblasted stainless steel finish and two 20,5 mm chains with a length of 150 meter.

Maxwell Marine, the New Zealand based manufacturer and distributor of the globally renowned range of Maxwell anchoring equipment, is pleased to announce the appointment of Exalto Emirates LLC as their new distributor in the UAE.

Exalto Emirates, under the directorship of Mr. John W. Paul, has long and extensive marine equipment experience in the Middle East and is well known throughout the region.

Based in their new location in Sharjah, Exalto has set up a well stocked warehouse of Maxwell products and will be offering a back up service centre, manned by Maxwell trained personnel.

Maxwell Marine, a Vetus owned subsidiary company, is confident that Exalto Emirates, who are also the Vetus Distributor for the Middle East, will bring a new level of professionalism and service to the Gulf Market.

Exalto Emirates will be backed up from both the Maxwell EMEA offices in Holland as well as supported by the technical expertise of the Maxwell Head Office in New Zealand.

Exalto will be focusing on both OEM boat builder and after market customers with the aim of seeing every boat built in the UAE fitted with a Maxwell anchor windlass and other ancillary anchoring equipment. The refit market will also form an important part of Exalto’s drive to serve the market with Maxwell and Vetus marine equipment within the next few years, bringing a previously unseen high level of service and commitment to the marine market in the UAE.
