Three Majesty Superyachts by Gulf Craft among World Superyacht Awards 2016 Finalists

The premier Middle Eastern shipyard, Gulf Craft, has proudly announced that three Majesty superyachts have been shortlisted to participate in the prestigious World Superyacht Awards 2016. Winners will be unveiled in the historic city of Florence, Italy on May 14, 2016.

The Majesty 155 M/Y Escape is one of the finalists under the Displacement Motor Yachts below 500 gross tonnage from 47 m and above category. The Majesty 135 M/Y Jewel, which was showcased at the 2015 Monaco Yacht Show, is one of the finalists under the Semi-Displacement Three Deck Motor Yachts from 30 m- 41.90 m category. And lastly, the Majesty 122 M/Y Nashwan is a finalist under the Semi-displacement Two Deck Motor Yachts category.

Gulf Craft Exclusive Preview event at the Almouj Marina

Set to run until Saturday, January 16, 2016, the Gulf Craft Exclusive Preview event is currently being hosted by the Almouj Marina at Al Mouj Muscat. Maximizing both space as well as natural light from the inside and out, the Majesty 135 provides a spacious and deluxe interior, boasting vanity table tops made from premium quality marble, as well as lustrous silver leaf ceilings in the main saloon and the owner’s stateroom. There are plenty of novelty features onboard this superyacht, stretching from the use of state-of-the-art technology and environmentally friendly equipment, to advanced entertainment systems and ample lounging areas.

Hosting an elegantly designed main saloon and an extensive dining area, the Majesty 105 provides fantastic surrounding views through her panoramic windows. This luxury vessel also features generous outdoor entertaining and lounging areas, including a large aft deck and a spacious hard-topped sun deck. Accommodation layout consists of five en-suites that can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests, and two crew cabins.

A remarkable list of ShowBoats Design Awards 2016 Finalists

A remarkable list of finalists for the prestigious ShowBoats Design Awards 2016 has been proudly unveiled by Boat International Media. Now in its seventh edition, the Awards honour the innovators and creative minds behind the finest superyacht designs of 2015. Concentrating entirely on the design aspects of superyacht production, the Awards will recognize creative excellence across a range of categories, including Interior Design, Exterior Design & Styling, Naval Architecture, Holistic Design and Tender Design. Moreover, the Young Designer of the Year Award, sponsored by Oceanco, will also be presented at the exclusive prize giving.

Finalists include the 55m motor yacht Atlante. Handed over to her owner in January 2015, this beautiful vessel was built by CRN with exterior styling by Nuvolari Lenard.

The imposing 101,5m mega yacht Symphony has been announced as finalist in both interior and exterior design categories. She was built by Feadship, and boasts exterior design by Tim Heywood and interior design by François Zuretti and Peter Marino.

Sailing yacht finalists include the 38,8m Claasen sailing yacht Atalante – one of twenty two yachts shortlisted in the holistic design class – as well as the 35m Baltic superyacht Doryan, a finalist in both the interior and exterior categories.

This year’s prize giving ceremony will take place on the first day of the Superyacht Design Symposium, after which all guests of the event will gather for the ShowBoats Design Awards celebration party at a mountain lodge in Kitzbühel, Austria.

Successful Qatar International Boat Show 2015 for Gulf Craft

Last week’s 3rd edition of the Qatar International Boat Show was a huge success for the premier Middle Eastern superyacht builder, Gulf Craft. This year’s show was inaugurated by the HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al-Thani, Minister of Economy & Commerce, warmly welcomed at the company’s stand by Mohammed Alshaali, Chairman of Gulf Craft. The five-day event was held at the Lusail City Marina from November 10-14, 2015.

Prior to the opening of the show, Gulf Craft hosted a press conference on board its largest superyacht on display, luxury motor yacht Majesty 135. The currently running Monaco Yacht Show 2015 is marked by a grand presence of the premier Middle Eastern shipyard Gulf Craft, including a beautiful display of the largest superyacht it has ever brought to Europe – the striking Majesty 135 motor yacht JEWEL. It was a sight to behold as superyacht JEWEL made a grand entrance at the Port Hercules in Monaco on September 20, following a successful completion of her 5-day voyage, departing from Turkey.

The expanding Middle Eastern company will be exhibiting at the Cannes Yachting Festival, which will take place from 8-13 September, and will offer a prominent display, including the Majesty 135 yacht at the Monaco Yacht Show, which is scheduled from 23-26 September.

Her spacious and bespoke interior includes beautiful vanity counters, table tops made of creme marfil and onyx marble, as well as lustrous silver leaf ceilings in the main saloon and the owner’s stateroom.

Amongst the main features of Majesty 135 yacht is her innovative technology and eco-friendly equipment, advanced entertainment systems and vast relaxation areas. There is a 65” smart gull HD LED TV in the main saloon, weather proof ceiling speakers on the sun and upper decks and state rooms fitted with iPad control systems, and Wi-Fi access, amongst other sophisticated technology.
