Delicious Croatian coastal cuisine is a mixture of Greek, Roman, Illyrian and Mediterranean influences, featuring fresh seafood specialities, prepared in a number of different ways accompanied by a selection of vegetables, olive oil, prosciutto or fresh bread. The meals are then coupled with local wines, such as Babic, Malvasia, Prosecco and Vrbnik Zlahtina as well as a selection of liqueurs like the popular Maraschino.
