Horizon is proud to announce the launch of the first Horizon PC58, a highly refined and technologically advanced luxury cruising Power Catamaran which is designed, engineered and built to meet the demands of the most discerning cruising yachtsman. The Horizon PC58 will make her debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 27-31, 2011.

The PC58 is the latest in Horizon’s multi-hull models, which began development in 2010 with the solar-powered SC23 and SC46 models, and now rounds out its offerings with the brand-new PC58. The Horizon PC58 is constructed using the patented SCRIMP™ resin infused system used on all Horizon yachts, ensuring a lighter, stiffer and stronger structure. The latest in propulsion management system has also been installed, namely the ZF Joystick Maneuvering System™ (JMS) and the ZF Fly-by-wire SteerCommand™, ensuring effortless and precise handling.
The Horizon PC58 Catamaran features are those normally found on much larger motor yachts, including her tank tested, advanced hull design; spacious and luxurious accommodations; large deck areas; 20knt cruising speed; shallow draft; ease of operation, and excellent maneuverability. The luxurious accommodations on this three en-suite cabin layout include a lavish on deck master cabin with full walk-around King bed, separate head, shower, vanity plus dressing area with full height closets and numerous draws and cupboards for storage. The large, elegantly finished en-suite VIP cabin has a partial walk around Queen bed and ample storage space. The third cabin has two twin beds that can covert into an oversized King, plus a separate bathroom that doubles as the day head. The salon, bar and gourmet galley integrate beautifully to form a large and comfortable area for entertaining. The cockpit with teak deck and flybridge are spectacularly large and offer a host of entertaining options.
Naval architect and recognized multihull authority, Lavranos Marine Design of Auckland, New Zealand, developed highly refined, tank-tested hulls and incorporated numerous subtle design features drawn from several hundred successful catamarans launched to-date. The semi-displacement symmetric hulls are very efficient and ensure excellent sea keeping and a soft smooth ride. The yachts structural, electrical and general systems are engineered by Horizon’s highly regarded in house engineers and naval architects.
