The French « savoir-faire » is written inside the Couach brand DNA. As genetically programmed by the requirement of luxe, Couach affirms itself on the market by claiming its marine qualities that really make the difference.

Luxury yacht La Pellegrina is emblematic concerning her position on the market: a super yacht that gives the tuning to new ambitions, a brand firmly deep-rooted inside a performance, technology and creativity register.

On the technical hand, La Pellegrina superyacht involves technologies of exception: the hull and superstructures are entirely built with a material inspired to the kevlar® qualities with carbon reinforcements. The La Pellegrina’s hull is the biggest piece ever moulded using the specific one piece infusion process.

This hull is clearly more shock resistant than a classic aluminium or polyester hull. La Pellegrina yacht is more rigid, more solid, lighter and then faster and more autonomous. The Couach shipyard prevails as the international leader in the implementation of this technology with over 30 years of experience.

This professional ships expertise is therefore transposed to the Pleasure Yachts range which the conception responds to the restrictions imposed by the military sector about manufacturing process, liability, safety in the worst climatic conditions.

The V-shaped hull of the 50m superyacht La Pellegrina, a specificity of Couach, offers a perfect sea passage, and an unmatched sailing comfort. The excellent seaworthiness allows to maintain the boat’s speed without hitting waves or jolting the passengers. Less solicited, the engines gain significantly in consumption and acoustical comfort.

The Couach yachts are born to navigate fast, far and with all weather conditions. The mastery and the know-how of Couach in this domain make the yard one of the greatest composite building specialists in the world. To illustrate her qualities, La Pellegrina yacht is provided of last generation engines (2 x 5,300 hp) and mobilizes a record weight of only 296 tonnes for a unit of such a big size.

Launched at full speed, La Pellegrina superyacht can reach the record speed of 30kts, unlike any seen on a boat of this size. At a cruising speed of 25kts, La Pellegrina behaves with the same agility of a 20-metre yacht, even on rough seas.

On the environmental hand, quite naturally, the La Pellegrina yacht’s conception allows an exemplary energetic consumption. Thanks to her lightness and to her singular hull design, the yacht navigates with excellent conditions showing a minimal record consumption of 180 L/h at 12kts.

This economic cruising speed enables a complete transatlantic autonomy. Moreover, the yacht integrates the most performing equipments for the waste water treatment. This way, she can navigate in protected sailing zones very strict towards discharges.

La « Pellegrina », the incomparable pearl…
La Pellegrina is the name of a famous and magnificent round pearl of 27,5 carats. By the years and history, this pearl has been a covetousness object. Conserved today at the Moscow Museum, la Pellegrina is considered as an exceptional pearl regarding its purity of shape and its orient (iridescent effect).

It’s a combination of all kind of perfection: smooth, perfect sphericity, its silvery lustre make it appear almost transparent. They pretend that it should be identical to the «Reine des perles» (The Queen of Pearls) stolen in the past in the crown jewels of France, during the Bourbons reign.
