Summer is here, and the yachting season has started! The coolest superyachts have already arrived in the best ports and marinas of Monaco, St Tropez, Nice, Cannes, Portofino, Capri, Amalfi and Ibiza. LIONHEART | Benetti | 90m | 2016 |

Benetti‘s largest yacht to date, Lionheart is a real head-turner. This dramatically beautiful displacement vessel was spotted in Ibiza a few days ago. The sporty exterior profile and curved superstructure make this lady one of the most famous superyachts. Motor yacht Lionheart has a number of outstanding features, such private balconies, enormous living spaces and an impressive speed of 18 knots. Lionheart was built by Benetti’s repeat client, who replaced his 63.50-metre Lionheart (now known as Lioness V), which is now one of the most popular charter yachts.

SAILING YACHT A | Nobiskrug | 143m | 2016

You have probably already seen tonnes of different pictures of Sailing Yacht A. She is, indeed, the most talked about yacht these days. The fact that she is currently in the Mediterranean makes it appealing for yacht spotters to take greats shot of the vessel. Here is Sailing yacht A’  close-up photo: take a look at this huge fold out terrace, from which you can see a bit of her highly secretive interior design. AVIVA | Abeking & Rasmussen | 98M | 2017

The largest ever built by Abeking & Rasmussen, the 98 Aviva is another great superyacht from the 2017 launches. She was designed by Reymond Langdon Design, who penned the yacht’s striking exterior design and head-spinning blue hull. Motor yacht Aviva includes a large number of innovative features. Her curvaceous hull provides excellent seakeeping capabilities combined with 20% in drag. Aviva boasts a hybrid drive system, which allows a speed of 11 knots while running solely on her electric motors. Silence and smooth cruising are some of Aviva’s significant characteristics.

OCTOPUS | Lurssen | 126m | 2003

Built by Lurssen shipyard and launched in 2003, luxury mega yacht OCTOPUS measures an impressive 126 metres and belongs the fleet of the largest and most recognisable superyachts in the world. OCTOPUS superyacht is renowned not only for its ultra-luxurious amenities but also for her involvement in numerous expedition projects, scientific research and rescue operations. One of the research operations in 2015 included the discovery of the WW2 warship, Musashi.

DILBAR | Lurssen | 156m | 2016 & ECLIPSE | Blohm & Voss | 162.50 m | 2010

The second largest and the fourth largest superyacht in the world were photographed in Monaco last week. Mega yacht Dubai is currently the largest in the world in terms of gross tonnage. However, Eclipse had lost her title of the largest yacht in terms of length, when Lurssen launched their 180m Azzam in 2013. Nevertheless, Eclipse is a magnificent vessel, with an estimated value of $400 million. As for Dilbar, she won the “Motor Yacht of the Year” award at the World Superyacht Awards held in May 2017 in Italy.

TITAN | Abeking & Rasmussen | 78.40m | 2010

Superyacht Titan is the third yacht in the 78m series, launched by Abeking & Rasmussen of Germany. Her naval architecture was developed by the yard’s in-house team, while Reymond Langton created her striking exterior styling. This outstanding 78.43-metre motor yacht can accommodate 14 guests in 7 staterooms, as well as provide accommodation for an excellent and highly professional crew of 19 members. The 2010-launched yacht Titan was built according to Lloyds Register of Shipping and MCA standards.

YAS | ADM Shipyard | 141m | 2011

The spectacular 141-metre mega yacht Yas was photographed in Port Gibraltar. It’s interesting that Yas looks very different from various angles. You can view more incredible photos here. Mega yacht Yas was built by ADM Shipyards in 2011. Striking exterior of this yacht features smooth curves and lots of glass in the superstructure, which resemble the shape of a dolphin. This floating heaven has a large variety of lavish amenities, including an enormous swimming pool, spa, a helicopter pad and a massive garage with water toys. Yas can accommodate 60 guests and 56 crew members.

EXCELLENCE V | Abeking & Rasmussen | 60m | 2012

Superyacht EXCELLENCE V was designed by bespoke Reymond Langton and launched by Abeking Rasmussen in 2012. Luxury motor yacht EXCELLENCE V boasts a stunning exterior profile with elegant lines and measures 60m.  She can accommodate 12 charter guests in 7 beautiful cabins and is available for charter in the Western Mediterranean from  EUR€ 595,000 per week plus expenses.
