Luxury Yacht & Superyacht News Brief for Superyachts

Superyachts are large, privately owned vessels, usually measuring more than 24 metres (79 feet) in length over all. Superyachts represent the ultimate luxury ‘item’ and feature the latest in design, technology, luxury amenities and materials; they are constructed with extremely high attention to detail. Superyachts are maintained and serviced by a professional crew 24/7 and are often available for luxury superyacht charter. Although there are many owners, who choose to keep their vessel for private use, there are those that offer their yacht for charter in order to cover some of the running and maintenance costs.

Featuring numerous decks, super yachts offer their guests and passengers aboard plenty of space for entertainment, relaxation and socialising. There are number of saloons, outdoor/indoor dining areas, multiple sunbathing areas; many feature the popular Jacuzzi or a swimming pool, a gymnasium, an outdoor or indoor cinema, right through to helipads, spas or even basketball courts and discotheques.

Luxurious accommodation with en suite bathrooms, large full-beam bedrooms, or even a small study and a private lounging area can be found aboard super yachts. Master suites can include an entire deck, called the ‘Owner’s deck’, which could boast anything from a private dining area to a private jacuzzi spa. Luxury superyachts can be easily spotted at popular holiday destinations like the Mediterranean or the Caribbean, however they often cruise the more remote destinations of the world, as well.
