Portsmouth Harbour-based refit company, Endeavour Quay, has successfully completed the refit of the TP52 sailing yacht 5˚ WEST. She was training in the Solent last week, ahead of this weekend’s Easter Regatta.

Solent Refit has started working on an extensive refit of the 58 m charter yacht Lady K II (ex Princess Tanya). Major works on the engine room are currently underway.
Launched by the UK shipyard Austin & Pickersgill in 1961, the 58m luxury charter yacht Lady K II (ex Radiant I, Princess Tanya) has arrived at Solent Refit to undergo a major refit. This beautiful, classic vessel can comfortably sleep up to 18 charter guests.
The splendid 32-metre superyacht Lunar Mist nears completion at Solent Refit, following her major 12-month refit. She was originally constructed by the US builder, Windship Trident, and designed by renowned Bill Tripp.
Solent Refit has just completed two major refits of the 34m charter yacht Sudami as well as MV Babylon, and the company is already preparing for other refits, including two 35m+ vessels and the 38m superyacht Moonbeam. They will also refit the 62m charter yacht Lady K II – their biggest project yet.
MDL’s Ocean Village Marina was delighted to host three J Class yachts during the J Class Solent Regatta, including luxury yacht Velsheda, superyacht Lionheart as well as charter yacht Ranger. The marina also played host to Athos superyacht and sailing yacht Adela, participating in the Superyacht Cup.
The legendary Kings Hundred Guinea Cup went to the Claasen Jachtbouw built and Andre Hoek designed superyacht Lionheart, participating in this year’s J Class Regatta in the Solent. This splendid vessel competed along with other beautiful J Class yachts, including Velsheda superyacht, charter yacht Ranger as well as luxury yacht Rainbow.
Saturday 21 July saw the 2012 J Class Solent Regatta – Hundered Guinea Cup, attended by the spectacular J Class yachts. The overall winner has become sailing yacht Lionheart, followed by superyacht Velsheda, charter yacht Ranger and Rainbow superyacht, respectively.

Day 2 of the J Class Solent Regatta saw a very close racing of the J Class yachts. In the end, the overall winner has become superyacht Velsheda, winning by just 5 seconds, followed by Lionheart, Rainbow and Ranger, respectively.
Following the recent J Class Regatta in Falmouth, the four luxury vessels participating in this popular race, comprising charter yacht Ranger, luxury yacht Lionheart, Rainbow superyacht as well as sailing yacht Velsheda now moved to the Solent, facing challenging weather conditions on the first day of racing. Charter yacht Ranger is currently taking the leading position.
Attended by 20 beautiful yachts built by the prestigious UK-based shipyard Oyster Yachts, the 29th Oyster Regatta in Cowes kicked off yesterday. The biggest luxury vessel to compete is the Oyster 82 superyacht Starry Night of the Caribbean.
The overall winner of this year’s Westward Cup has become the luxury sailing yacht Mariette, followed by the charter yacht Eleonora E (ex Eleonora) and the superyacht Mariquita, respectively.
With no competing on the final day Saturday 16 June, this year’s Westward Cup, attended by three big class vessels, including charter yacht Eleonora E (ex Eleonora), Mariette superyacht and luxury yacht Mariquita, was concluded today.
The three Big Class yachts racing in this year’s Westward Cup gathered today the Eatern Solent to compete for Yacht Club de Monaco Trophy. These include the 49.5m (160ft) charter yacht Eleonora E (ex Eleonora), the 42.06m (138ft) luxury yacht Mariette, and the 38.1m (125ft) superyacht Mariquita. Today’s race was won by Mariette, now having 3 points in the overall competing.
Day 1 of this year’s Westward Cup in Cowes, UK saw the 42m superyacht Mariette take the top position, followed by the 38m luxury yacht Mariquita and the 41.5m charter yacht Eleonora E (ex Eleonora) respectively.
