Today´s St. Barths Bucket racing proved about as good as it gets, despite the unseasonable weather, featuring as usual the ‘Round the Island Race’ clockwise and an incredible fleet of 47 most impressive sailing yachts, hailing from every yacht building nation on earth, with a LOA of close to two kilometers in length total is mind boggling to any normal human being, even us hundreds of die-hard Bucketeers.

Pendennis Plus has this week successfully completed the refit of the 62m motor yacht Virginian by Feadship. She was one of the first refits undertaken by Devonport Yachts in their Plymouth facility.

Pendennis Superyacht Christopher completes Sea Trials

The 46m Ron Holland ketch, Sailing yacht Christopher took to the waters of Falmouth Bay for her final sea trials in mid February. It was a stunning winter’s day as the yacht manoeuvred around the Carrick Roads and out into Falmouth Bay, the sunlit waves reflected beautifully on her dark blue hull. The four hour sail trials enabled the Pendennis team and Christopher crew to assess her rig in preparation for the St Barths Bucket Regatta.

With two New Builds, a Ron Holland 150’ Sailing yacht Christopher and sailing yacht Barracuda 105 Sloop (B105), due to be handed over shortly and several refits already at the yard it is indicative that the market is still buoyant.
