Sealine returned to the London Tullet Prebon Boat Show with plans for their latest model and a commitment to launch eight new boats over the next three years.

At a press briefing this morning (7th January) Sealine’s Managing Director, Chris O’Connor announced that the company would be making a significant investment into new models. “We are fully committed to expanding our model range and growing the company. We believe this investment is the right strategy for the business at the right time and will secure future success for Sealine. As a result of the strong demand for our recent new boats and this additional investment in future models, we will be hiring over 50 new employees to work in engineering and manufacturing.”

He confirmed that Sealine would be building on the successful introduction of new dealers during 2010 in France, Turkey, UK, and Spain with inroads into South America and the Far East. In conjunction with Ancasta, Sealine will be refurbishing 7 duel branded offices on the South Coast prior to the start of the season.

He also stated that the innovative marketing activities that proved to be so successful in 2010 would continue. “There will be 12 Sealine Experience Roadshows around the UK with a further 7 new events in Spain. The Big Splash weekend for which Sealine is once again the major sponsor will take place from 29th – 31st July, in Cowes, Isle of Wight. It is a unique opportunity for owners to share their adventure with family and friends. As a company, and with our Dealers in the UK and elsewhere in Europe, we will be present at events and boat shows for over 200 days this year”

Chris then unveiled the layouts for the revolutionary new sports cruiser due for launch this summer. “The SC42 represents a complete rethink on how we can make the best use of space on a 42 foot open sports cruiser. A bold and innovative new design, the SC42 will offer more social space than on any other cruiser of this size.”

One of the most significant design features is the cockpit layout which makes maximum use of the full beam width of the boat for relaxing, dining and entertaining.

The SC42 has many additional innovations in the saloon, cabins and convertible roof system that, together with the proven handling, will make this a complete package of style, space and performance”

“We are looking forward to a good 2011 and to sharing the Sealine adventure with you in the coming months.”
