Royal Huisman to undertake retro-classic conversion ‘Project Marlin’

Royal Huisman has revealed further details on plans to convert a retro-classic yacht into a 49m/161ft superyacht by the name of PROJECT MARLIN.

A scale model was unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show that showcases a streamlined exterior designed by Frers Naval Architecture. Stirling & Co Interior Design will be responsible for creating her internal living spaces.

PROJECT MARLIN is a tri-deck yacht that will have a displacement hull capable of reaching 17 knots using two 850 hp engines. While remaining under 500 GT, she offers generous interior and exterior living spaces, capable of sleeping up to 10 guests as well as 10 crew. She is expected for delivery in 2019.
