Moscow-based Skripnik Design have developed a 37m/121ft concept named ROCKET, a foiling superyacht capable of reaching a top speed between 50-60 knots while maintaining high standards in guest comfort. Although foiling technology has long been in use by smaller vessels across the world to ferry passengers and commuters, superyacht designs incorporating the technology are few and far between.

With an almost catamaran-like appearance, the design brings together all the luxury elements of a contemporary superyacht with the benefits of a foiling hull: Lifted out of the water, drag will be reduced to only 1.7m/5.6ft and the reduced contact with the sea will produce a smoother cruising experience.

Able to change from racer mode to lifestyle mode, the glass panel of the flybridge can be lowered for high speeds and raised for guest use, and the large swim platform for sun bathing slides into the hull during transit.
