The classic 38m charter yacht Moon Maiden II (ex Yildiz 10) made her dramatic entrance back to the water as she was auspiciously re-launched at Solent Refit during a near total solar eclipse, the first since 1999. Originally built in 1975, superyacht Moon Maiden II is a very successful charter yacht and one time movie Star. She was featured in The James Bond film ‘The Living Daylights’ in 1987.

Motor yacht Moon Maiden II was found by her current owner in a run down state. Although at first glance the work needed to bring her back to her former glory looked as though it may not be viable to undertake in the Mediterranean – a successful solution to renovate and refit this ‘ex-bond girl’ was found at the UK’s comprehensive superyacht facility, Solent Refit in Southampton.

Charter yacht Moon Maiden II has been at Solent Refit and undergone an extensive refit, an engine room renovation, has new decks and a hull and superstructure paint. She is ready to leave Solent Refit all sparkling to go back to the popular Mediterranean yacht holiday destinations to begin her 2015 season.
