Record number of yachts to attend The Rendezvous in Monaco

The largest ever line-up of yachts will participate in this year’s Rendezvous in Monaco. To date, 15 superyachts have confirmed attendance at this exclusive event, the majority of which will represent the largest and finest shipyards in the world. Guests will include European Royalty, superyacht owners, their families and friends along with select members of the Yacht Club de Monaco, VIPs of the Principality and CEOs from SYBAss partners (Superyacht Builders Association); Lürssen, Feadship, Trinity, Burger, Benetti, CRN, Heesen and Fincantieri.

International yacht owners will celebrate the best of the yachting lifestyle over four days of parties, entertainment and fun. M/Y Linda Lou, the 60m Lürssen and 47m Burger M/Y Ingot will come all the way from Florida to participate. Two Feadship yachts, 65m M/Y Trident and 39m M/Y Go will attend along with Delta’s 50m M/Y Happy Days and Oceanco’s 50m M/Y Lazy Z, CRN’s 60m M/Y Romance, 58m M/Y Unbridled by Trinity and the soon to launch M/Y Volare Ancora is making this her first trip.  Italian owner, the enigmatic Raffaele Costa, better known as “Captain Magic” will bring his 54m Yacht Sea Force One. With so much entertainment on offer, superyacht owners and VIP guests are encouraged to get involved and enjoy themselves and their yachts with new friends.

Yacht TRIDENT

The Rendezvous is a private event strictly for superyacht owners and their personal guests, however the Bal d’Oceana on 25 June welcomes all members of the yachting community, residents and visitors to Monaco.   Entrance will require an individual non-transferable ticket and is not limited to superyacht owners and guests participating in The Rendezvous.

Individual tickets are 1,000 Euros. Tables are also available for 8,000 Euros and seat ten individuals.
DAY 1 – THURSDAY 24 JUNE

Champagne Welcome Cocktail
Venue: Quai des Etats Unis / Design Gallery / Host Yacht
Dress Code: Cocktail / Jacket (no tie required)
Entry: Guests of The Rendezvous, accreditation required

The Rendezvous in Monaco welcomes guests to the Principality with a Champagne Welcome Cocktail at the Quai des Etats Unis of the Port Hercule. Tony Harris, CEO of Boat International Media welcomes all Rendezvous guests along with Michel Bouquier the Director of Tourism and Bernard D’Alessandri, Director of of the Yacht Club de Monaco. Boat International Media Editors, SYBAss partners and sponsors welcome guests to four amazing days and nights on the Cote d’Azur.

Rendezvous Yacht Hop
Venue: Quai des Etats Unis – Host Yacht and all Open Yachts participating in The Rendezvous
Dress Code: Cocktail / Jacket (no tie required)
Entry: Guests of The Rendezvous only, accreditation required

The evening continues all along the Quai des Etats Unis as guests enjoy champagne, fine food and live music while strolling from one fabulous yacht to the other that are berthed along the Quai des Etats Unis in the port of Monaco. Yachts participating in the yacht hop welcome neighbouring owners and other Rendezvous guests on board for drinks, canapés and hospitality in the true yachting tradition.

After Parties – Private Parties on Board the Yachts
Venue: Quai des Etats Unis
Dress Code: Cocktail / Jacket (no tie required)
Entry: Guests of The Rendezvous upon private invitation only, accreditation required

Fun loving owners may choose to continue into the night with private parties and entertainment onboard their own yachts for personal guests. For those wishing to taste some of the famous Monaco night life, courtesy cars will transfer them to Jimmy’z, the Casino or back to their hotel.

DAY 2 – FRIDAY 25 JUNE

Cruise in Company
Venue: Port Hercule / Various cruising destinations
Dress Code: Cruising / Relaxed
Entry: Guests of The Rendezvous only, accreditation required.

For the first time in Rendezvous history, the participating yachts leave the Port to cruise. Monaco will witness the spectacle of this majestic fleet of superyachts moving out in an orchestrated choreography. The cruise will take them along some of the most picturesque views of the Mediterranean to the Iles de Lérins off the coast of Cannes. The yachts will moor between the Ile de St Marguerite and St Honorat. A timed trial will give a competitive element to the cruise.

Cruising Luncheon
Venue: Restaurant La Tonnelle – Ile St Honorat
Dress Code: Cruising / Relaxed
Entry: Guests of The Rendezvous only, invitation required

Cruise in Company guests will tender to the Ile St Honorat for a private luncheon at the Restaurant La Tonnelle, the only establishment on the island except for the Abbey and its vineyard. Guests will enjoy a relaxing lunch of fresh Mediterranean produce and local wine.

Bal d’Oceana
Venue: Hotel de Paris
Dress Code: Black tie / long dresses for ladies
Entry: Ticket required

Boat International Media and marine conservation organization – Oceana – are joining forces to create Bal d’Oceana, an exclusive black tie charity event. Bal d’Oceana is the official fundraising event of The Rendezvous and supports ocean protection programs led by Oceana. Taking place at Hôtel de Paris in Monaco, the gala will be attended by superyacht owners and celebrities including Oceana’s longtime supporter and board member Ted Danson along with his wife and actress, Mary Steenburgen. The evening will include a champagne reception and 4 course dinner, a short presentation and dancing to live music.
