Proteksan Turquoise Yachts in Turkey have signed a contract for a 50m motor yacht project NB56 called Thunder.
Proteksan Turquoise Hull number NB56, Project Thunder will measure 49.90 m, with a beam of 9.30 m. When finished, Project Thunder will be able to accommodate up to 12 guests along with 12 crew members. It is unsure if superyacht project Thunder will be available for charter or if she will be a private motor yacht.
Proteksan Turquoise 50m motor yacht, Hull number NB56 - Project Thunder
Motor yacht project Thunder should be able to attain a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots thanks to her twin 820 kW / 1100 hp engines. NB56, Project Thunder will have a 3000 nautical mile range cruising speed and a 4,500 nautical mile range at 12 knots.
The NB56 motor yacht project Thunder is expected to be delivered in 2012.
