Lee Marine, Phuket’s leading yacht brokerage, today announced it sold four yachts at the 2012 PIMEX International Boat Show on Phuket between 29 March and 1 April. According to Lee Marine Managing Director, Josh Lee the show, where the company exhibited eight yachts on the water and had the largest stand in the exhibition hall, was “very successful.”

A total of four boats covering three different brands, from Italy’s luxury Ferretti Group and Australia’s largest manufacturer of luxury boats, Riviera, were sold. One yacht was more than 90ft. Lee Marine is Thailand agent for both brands.

Mr Lee said: “We anticipated a good show so these results are very pleasing and show there is life in the market. There was a much better boat display this year. Those people that did not come missed out.”

Ferretti Group Manager, Asia Pacific, Giuseppe Zecchin said: “Phuket is becoming the centre of gravity for the boating scene in South East Asia thanks to the stunning water playground and wonderful marinas like Royal Phuket Marina. It was a great show with the quality of the visitors and level of interest extremely high.”
