Images of the wonderful PIROPO IV sailing yacht have been sent to us by Ferdinand Rogge, who captured the 46m (151ft) vessel while she was sailing around Greece in the Mediterranean. One of the images of Piropo IV shows her in the harbour of Skiathos in the Sporades and the other in the Chrisi Milia Bay of Alonissos in the Northern Sporades group.
Piropo IV is a spectacular steel vessel constructed and cleverly designed by Perini Navi, and launched in 1991. Accommodation aboard is offered to 8 guests and 6 crew in total. Luxury yacht Piropo IV has a beam of 9.2 metres (30’2”) and a draft of 7.2m (23ft) keel down, and 3.37m (11ft) keel up. She can be powered by 2 MTU 12V 183 TC91 engines to a maximum speed of 14 knots.
Sporades in Greece is a popular yachting destination for private yacht owners as well as luxury yacht charterers, loved for the beautiful waters and spectacular scenery. The Sporades are situated on the northwestern part of the Aegean Sea and represent a very unique charter destination in the Eastern Mediterranean. Its islands are covered with thick vegetation in a generally mountainous area, with the majority of islands reachable only by a sailboat. Sporades is certainly a wonderful destination for a memorable and relaxing holiday aboard a sailing yacht or a luxury motor yacht.
