Pershing 108’ motor yacht, the new Pershing flagship, a Ferretti Group brand among the world’s leading manufacturers of high performance open motor yachts from 15 to 35 metres, has passed the electrical and mechanical tests in a test tank, leading it to the launching scheduled for January 2011.

Designed by Fulvio De Simoni, with the support of the technical office of Pershing, the AYT (Advanced Yacht Technology) of the Ferretti Group and the team of architects and designers of the Ferretti group Style Centre, the new boat is a leading yacht, with a versatile layout – able to offer ever different spaces depending on the situation – and innovative technology on board.

The Pershing 108’motor yacht is 32.90 m long, has 4 guest cabins and 3 crew cabins, offering customers a choice of three different internal layouts for the owner’s suite, to have more versatile and customized spaces.  Pershing’s flagship, the Pershing 108’ motor yacht has a cutting edge layout and on board technology, as well as motorization for the first time subdivided with the aim to ensure high performance while paying attention to the environmental impact.

The standard version of Pershing 108’ has three diesel 1940 KW MTU and, thanks to the three surface propellers, it reaches a maximum velocity of 41 knots.  With a single central operating engine, it is possible to reach an extraordinary autonomous sailing speed of 11 knots per 1070 nautical miles, useful when the boat needs to go from one place to another, with lower consumption and safer night sailing.

The new Pershing 108’ motor yacht with a white pearl hull – an innovative colouring that characterizes all the models of the fleet – has kept the “family feeling” over the years, making it unique and recognizable among the other models of the Pershing fleet, together with its originality.  The incredibly spacious upper sun deck of the Pershing 108’ is equipped with an innovative console, a large C-shaped sofa with a table which can be lowered to seat level, a bimini top, an ice box, a barbeque and a sink, making this an independent and functional area.  A discrete space, which makes it easier to enjoy the moments of relaxation on board and which can be used at any time of the day.

Every detail of Pershing 108’ has been designed to meet the various customers’ needs, facilitating the use of space, the livability and the privacy of life on board, as evidenced by the interesting solution which allows guests to easily access the bathroom from the cockpit.

Having recently completed the installation of the innovative carbon components – such as the ports with sun beds at the stern and the bow – in the coming months the workers will set up the internal decor, the leather upholstery and the lighting system, and the preparation of all the free-standing solutions that make this model a forerunner of trends and tendencies.

Design, the elegance of the Made in Italy style, the high-tech on board and the advanced engines are the elements that contribute to make this yacht a forefront model in the nautical world and that increase the expectation for its official debut.

Not surprisingly, even before the launching in January 2011, Pershing 108’ has already won the prestigious award of the “Best Production Motor Yacht” (81 to 120 feet)” in the 2010 Asia Boating Awards in Hong Kong.
