The Mangusta brand of yachts has been looking into crating a displacement motor yacht for some time and testing the waters as to how such a concept will be recieved by the market. Essentially thy have been teasing the yachting public with the displacement new design and preliminary designs for this new design have now been unveiled.
The new design Oceano yacht is in the form of a 148-foot 45m displacement tri-deck which marks a departure from the established open sport style performance superyacht that mangusta are already well known for. This new displacement yacht will enhance the range of yachts that the Mangusta brand manufactures which are currently between 27 and 50 meters in length.
