TOUCH 60 yacht concept is one of the latest projects to come out of the Hamburg based design studio NEWCRUISE: Several clients liked the fresh and always individually outstanding styling and concepts of the well recognized 200 ft. plus deliveries such as “TRIPLE–SEVEN” yacht, motor yacht “SIREN”, the 2010 delivered exterior of today days biggest expedition giga yacht as well as the latest 2011 delivery: superyacht “SAPPHIRE” of the international established German Project and Design-house NEWCRUISE – Yacht Projects+Design in Hamburg.

Partners and designers, Frank E.H. Neubelt, Roland Krueger and Katharina Raczek were asked by several interested parties of the industry as well as by owners to create a conceptional project proposal with only a total oblong size of 60 m/ 195 feet: so the Touch 60 yacht project was developed in very intensive cooperation with Russian super yacht specialist and yacht builder Roman Trotsenko.

The 60-metre motor yacht ‘Touch’ project forms a real blue water cruiser yacht with her very own styled outer lines full of character and with still ample and generous space through a clever layout. The yacht is designed for real family aspects which will allow visiting shallow and small beaches and bays as well as marinas such like St. Barth or Capri.

There were inquires for an indoor/ outdoor beach club topped with a pool: “Not an easy approach for a total length of 60 meter only but a challenge for us”, explains the designer trio. Today experienced owners are asking for realistic alternative concepts because costs, handling and crewing are becoming more and more an important issue, especially for a qualified yacht. This results in a well performed and well hydrodynamic analysed displacement hull design of 15 knots cruising to maximum speed of 17 knots.

Superyacht TOUCH 60 is a yacht with its very own individual style full of character with sharp, straight and steady lines to be high end constructed with ideas for several further combined features. The GA plan offers different layout options. Two spacious VIP cabins are possible equipped with side balconies at main deck as well as salon & dining. The bridge deck comprises a luxury owners’ suite with owners’ study. Further guest cabins are located on lower deck. Tenders are stored in garages through a specially developed launching system.

The interior concept, decoration and style of the new Touch 60 motoryacht will of course be custom designed with the individually elegance and own character as all NEWCRUISE yachts and will be developed in close collaboration with the owners. The interior design shows reduced and clean lines but provides warmth and ambience created by indirect lighting and muted colour schemes combining the most exquisite materials, almost invariable custom furniture designs as well as very thoughtful details and hand selected decoration.

Finally there is still a quite deeply developed design- and basic technical specification available, which defines a well thought displacement steel hull, zero speed and an aluminium composite superstructure.
