Heesen Yachts have launched motor yacht Quinta Essentia – a 55m superyacht. The newest superyacht from Heesen’s Yard in Holland had an official launching ceremony on Friday the 11th of March 2011. The 55m semi-displacement motor yacht Quinta Essentia (build number YN 14955) features naval architecture by Van Oossanen in conjunction with the Heesen Yachts in-house designers and exterior design by Frank Laupman of Omega. Interior design layout was carried out by the renowned Ken Freivokh, with interior design by Michela Reverberi. The owners, in collaboration with Dobroserdov Design, personally worked on the colour scheme, which features a combination of a custom metallic dark red Awlgrip paint that is combined with oyster white.

Present at the launching of Heesen’s superyacht Quinta Essentia were key members of the design team, including Michela Reverberi and Frank Laupman as well as members of the international press. The press conference was held on board yacht Quinta Essentia in the main salon, presided over by Sergei Dobroserdov of Nakhimov, who were responsible for the original sale and management of the project.
The owner gave his favourite chief stewardess Yanina Spatiro, formerly aboard his other Heesen motor yacht Celestial Hope, who has now taken up similar duties on board the Quinta Essentia the honour of breaking the traditional champagne over the anchor plate. The afternoon carried on with live music and a catered party as well as a showing of Pirates of the Caribbean.

Quinta Essentia yacht has a striking exterior profile coloured an off white with a contrasting deep red band running from the transom almost to the bow. The all-aluminium yacht also has signature curved balconies and windows in the owner’s suite located forward on the main deck and on the salons on the main and upper deck. These balconies are glazed to allow clear views of the surrounding vistas even when seated inside. The yachts interior is very spacious with a light and stylish design by Michela Reverberi.
M/Y Quinta Essentia should have her detailed finishing completed by 31st May, when she will head to Capri, Italy, for the wedding of the owner’s daughter. The yacht Quinta Essentia, will eventually be available for charter.
