Built on a slightly smaller version of the proven 50 meter fast-displacement hull, the luxury yacht CHEOY LEE 150 offers excellent performance with astounding range and economy.
Following the prescience set by Cheoy Lee with their Marco Polo and Mazu explorers, the new Cheoy Lee 150 yacht also features a single main engine (Cat 3512) and Schottel controllable pitch propeller. For redundancy, a diesel driven Schottel Pump-Jet is installed forward to serve as a fully azimuthing bow thruster and a “get-home” secondary propulsion system.
Fuel capacity on the new CHEOY LEE 150 superyacht design is increased to 25,000 U.S. gallons (94,625 liters). The increased fuel capacity combined with the highly efficient fast-displacement hull will push the calculated range up to 10,000 NM at 9-10 knots and around 6,000 NM at 12 knots with a top speed of 14.5 to 15 knots with the standard Caterpillar 3512C “B” rating.
