Sunseeker International is pleased to announce that it will be once again sponsoring the Macmillan Dorset Bike Ride, running on Sunday, July 6, 2014. This will be the 8th year that Sunseeker’s very own employees will be participating in effort to raise as much money as possible that will go towards Macmillan Cancer Support. All money raised will in turn improve the lives of people affected by cancer, providing practical, medical, emotional, as well as financial support. Cricketing legend, David Gower OBE, helped launch this year’s Macmillan Dorset Bike Ride campaign aboard the new flagship Sunseeker 155 Yacht Blush.

“Not only has the Macmillan Dorset Bike Ride raised thousands of pounds for people with cancer, but it is a healthy way for those to take part to have fun and enjoy the countryside,” said David. “I’ve been pleased to support the event for a few years now, both on the bike and off.”

There will be five circular courses, the 25-mile ride through Charborough Park, the 38, 48 and 60-mile rides, and the more challenging Macmillan 100 miles.

The charity ride attracts around 800 cyclists, and it has raised more than £1million for Macmillan Cancer Support.
