The latest and largest project for the Horizon Group‘s Refit Department is the 227ft motor yacht Saluzi (ex Tia Moana), built by the Australian shipyard Austal in 2003. The Taiwan-based company has already worked on the refit of the 161ft megayacht Aurora in 2010 as well as the 130ft luxury yacht Sea Hunter in 2011.
The refit of the Saluzi superyacht includes modifying the 37 medium-sized staterooms to 16 spacious staterooms as well as adding Jacuzzis, sun pads, teak decking, and custom interior décor to enhance the luxury and comfort found on board. Horizon’s 25 years of experience in luxury yacht manufacturing and advanced build technology ensure that Saluzi will be refitted to her owners’ expectations.
The 227-foot megayacht Saluzi (ex Tia Moana) is Horizon’s largest refit project to date and is currently docked at the Premier shipyard, which features 656 feet (200 m) of waterfront property and an automatic float on/off launch barge with a 650-ton lifting capacity. The Saluzi project is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.
