December 2, 2014, saw the Turkish shipyard, KRM Yacht, start working on the refit of the 31-metre motor yacht April, originally launched by Bilgin Yachts in Turkey in 2006. The refit of superyacht April is expected to last six months.

The refit of super yacht April will include changing of the whole deck and fitting of the new teak decking. The galley and saloon will be redesigned and constructed. All glasses will be changed and a new sitting area on fore deck will be designed and built. The board and superstructure will be painted with Jotun paint system and flybridge will be redesigned and constructed. All Navigation systems will be upgraded and ONAN gensets ( 2 X 24 kW ) as well as main engines (2 X MAN 1360 Hp) will be overhauled. Windlasses Capstans and Main winch will be repaired and all interior as well as exterior fabrics and upholstery will be renewed. All electrical systems will be also repaired and upgraded.
