After intensive sea trials Heesen delivers VanTom

The Dutch shipbuilder Heesen has just announced the delivery of 50-metre motor yacht VanTom after intensive sea trials in the North Sea. The yacht was launched in 2017 with codename “Project Alba” and designed by famous Omega Architects

VanTom is one of the Heesen’s 5000 Aluminium yacht series, which have proven to be hugely successful. VanTom’s interior is a work of Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini.

Heesen Yachts HY18050 M/Y VanTom

It was reported that VanTom had successfully undergone the sea trials and ran at 20 knots while providing stable and smooth cruising experience to her guests aboard. She is powered by two MTU 16V4000 M73L engines and can reach a top speed of 23.3 knots.

VanTom is preparing for the summer season and will be cruising in the waters of Mediterranean.

Heesen Yachts HY18050 M/Y VanTom

Currently, Heesen is building motor yacht Heesen 18151, which measure 51 metres and boasts exterior design by Harrison Eidsgaard.
