This year’s 20th anniversary edition of the China (Shanghai) International Boat Show (CIBS) was held from April 9 to 12. CIBS 20 saw an on the water show for the third time this year and for the second year running over a dozen of well sized yachts were anchored in the North Bund Star Marina, an ultra-modern five-star superyacht marina nestled on Shanghai’s Huangpu River.

The 20th anniversary edition of the CIBS was fruitful with a few boats sold and a number of ‘soft leads’ that could be followed up after the event. A number of boats were displaying red ‘SOLD’ signs in Chinese & English, reflecting a great success of the attending exhibitors.

This year saw the 8th running of the CIBS supported event Charity Regatta, as well as the 6th running of the Asian marine & Boating Awards.
