New European speed record set by Ampere 5.5 tender to motor yacht NONO

Based in Croatia, Abel Yachts has recently set a new European speed record with their LightWave Ampere 5.5 metre fully fitted out tender to Admiral Impero 37 RPH motor yacht Nono. Witnessed and certified by the Croatian Register of Shipping, the new record for Unlimited Electric Runabout is now set at 32,9 knots.

Unlike previous records, the Ampere 5.5 tender to superyacht Nono is a fully fitted out boat, ready to be delivered and to host two passengers on board.

Admiral Impero 37 Yacht NONO

Constructed almost entirely from carbon pre-preg, the all-electric Ampere luxury yacht tender weighs only 1,020kg. The power comes from an emission free 100-kilowatt UQM 140 HP electric motor fed by a 50 kwh lithium ion battery pack.

The Ampere super yacht tender has a range of 20 nm at full power, 40 nm at 20 knots, and over 80nm at 6 knots.
