Tuesday, April 15, saw the Complete Marine Freight and the crew of Aglaia yacht hand over a cheque for a total of 12,258€, representing the funds raised at their recent dock party. Comprised in this sum were 713€ from Bar Mojo in La Lonja, Palma who played a host to the after party, as well as a generous donation from MTN for 2000€ and 1000€ from Klaus Allebrodt from A2B project management.

These funds, actually a heavy bag of cash, and a mountain of donated kids clothing, toys, food and books will all go to helping the charity ‘Mediterranea’ provide vital support to families who live in abject poverty in this paradise isle.
Continued effort is needed, yachts can donate unwanted items such as clothing and linens as well as popping a little extra in their provisioning run for example milk, dry and canned foods and baby food and supplies are in high demand. We all live so well, let’s help others to live a little better!
