Following just behind their recent success in attaining GL and ABS (ICE Class) certifications Clements Marine have now received RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) certificate of approval.

The RINA approval came after inspections were carried out on site for a client and has been awarded for copper alloy castings (AB2 bronze) propellers, propeller brackets (P Brackets) and rudders. RINA has been responsible for classification and certification of marine products since 1861 and is one of the oldest recognised classification societies.

Clements Marine won Germanischer Lloyd approval for shafts and propellers and ABS (ICE Class) approval for their propellers in June this year.

Paul Williams, Clements Managing Director commented, “We have always known our standards are very high quality, all products are manufactured here on site to Class 1 and when required to Class S. We have now started working to getting these high standards recognised by the official classification societies

Clements Marine are propulsion experts, designing and manufacturing using modern CAE techniques to tailor propellers to client’s needs. All products are designed and manufactured in their up to date facilities, including in house foundry and CNC workshop.
