Christening of newly restored 1969 FEADSHIP Motor Yacht MONARA (ex Olympia)

Originally launched by FEADSHIP in 1969, the 28,50-metre classic motor yacht MONARA (ex Olympia) returned to her home yard after 46 years to be restored to her original name and condition in a comprehensive project, inspired by her sister ship, classic charter yacht Sultana (ex Din-Dina III). Friday, July 10, 2015 was marked by the christening of luxury yacht MONARA, as show the photos below, released by FEADSHIP. She is expected to be available for superyacht charter.

Superyacht MONARA is a beautiful and elegant displacement vessel, with both naval architecture as well as exterior styling by De Voogt Naval Architects. She can comfortably sleep 8 guests in 4 magnificent cabins, including a master cabin and three twin guest cabins. There is also space for a crew of 4 members.

The steel and aluminium super yacht MONARA (ex Olympia) is run by twin Gardner 8L3B diesel engines, pushing her to a comfortable maximum speed of 12 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots. She is RINA classed.
