Chris-Craft is currently present at the 2012 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, with its latest Corsair 32 yacht tender on display. The event will last until October 29 and the company is located at GH Docks 43-45. The Corsair 32 boat is the newest member of the Corsair family and is also the sister ship to the new Launch 32 yacht tender, which made its successful premiere at this year’s Miami International Boat Show.
Steve Heese, Chris-Craft President, said: “The Corsair line carries the core DNA of the legendary Chris-Craft brand. We built her to fill a need in our closed-deck series of cruisers.” The Corsair 32 is well-suited to accommodate overnight excursions but is also built for day cruising and quick turns around the bay before a champagne sunset.
Corsair 32 yacht tender’s owners can choose from a multitude of exterior options including custom paint colors such as the new Cashmere Metallic, “We are very excited about our new custom color offerings for 2013, which include the ability to please the discerning Chris-Craft customer, by building the boat to their exact specifications and we do this, all in-house,” said Steve Heese. The Corsair 32 is also available in three Heritage Edition Teak options with a choice of natural or varnished teak finishes as well as black or the new blonde, teak caulking.
And the choices and luxury appointments don’t end there. A skylight runs the entire length of the forward deck and is flanked by teak to allow for maximum natural light into the forward salon. The luxury interior cabin of the 32 yacht tender comes with a choice of cherry or walnut cabinetry to compliment the interior upholstery and seating, which is available in three color combinations.
The galley package adds a stove and microwave, to the already well appointed salon with standard refrigerator and a cabin that sleeps two and also comes with a standard 22” flat-screen TV. The full head with shower, solid surface countertops and also sporting the classic Chris-Craft teak appointments.
Moving topside, a 10’2” beam hosts a spacious cockpit with a double Captain’s helm chair on the starboard side, with stainless steel accent rails and matching single companion chair on the port side. Custom stainless steel windshield and perforated dash with custom Chris-Craft gauges are standard on this model. Moving aft, guests are treated to large u-shaped seating with aft facing lounges on the port and starboard side with a standard cockpit refrigerator located under the port seating.
A concealed teak cockpit table, conveniently stores under the teak step-through under the seat fore of the motor hatch, at the ready for entertaining. The spacious aft sunpad will accommodate multiple sunbathers and also includes a teak walk-thru located under the removable sunpad cushions.
