With regard to the aesthetic and the composite exterior design, the Pama Architetti Design studio was inspired by sharp and aggressive forms, creating the idea of speed and power, as well as harmony between the individual areas.

The colour also plays an important role in the project. The lower part of the superstructure highlights the transition between the hull and the large deckhouse. Thanks to their design, a beautiful, harmoniously flowing luxury motor yacht has been created.

At the stern of the Pama 80m super yacht Antigone, there is a large swimming pool with relaxation area, fitted with curtains and a bed, but also a bar and fitness equipment. There are in total five decks, one of which is completely dedicated to the Owner.

“The early days were unhurried as Trinity needed to reassure themselves that any vendor chosen by their customer had to work for all parties involved, with the motor yacht Red Sapphire, previously known as T054 being our trial yacht. The fact that we have been continually awarded these contracts provides evidence that Trinity Yachts were justified in offering Servowatch to their clients”. Dave Pickering Servowatch Yacht Systems Manager commented.

Navetta 43 super yacht Lady Trudy was designed and realized by the technical department of CRN in collaboration with the Zuccon International Project Studio that took care of the external lines and the partitioning of the interiors of this yacht built at the CRN shipyard of Ancona, where every phase of the productive process, the realization of the moulds as well as the lamination of the hull, up to its furnishing and decoration were checked. The interiors, the style, the furnishings and the décor were designed by the CRN design centre directly with the ship owner.

EXTERIORS

Lady Trudy yacht, like the Navetta 43 semi-custom line, distinguishes itself by large volumes and the larger outdoor area, such as the covered cockpit on the main deck and the upper deck, that open majestically on this “pearl effect” grey hull.

Every cockpit is characterised by predominant colours: white and red for the main deck, blue and white for the upper deck and beige and red for the sun deck.

The cockpit on the main deck is equipped with four armchairs with a wooden frame and a mocha coloured wicker back and a dark mahogany coffee table.  The huge sofa at the stern is white and decorated with embroidered cushions with marine patterns from the colonial collection of Mastro Raphael.

On the upper deck, the elliptical shaped dining table, that seats up to 12 people, is made of white glossy lacquered wood, and on the left of the boat there is a long buffet appliance unit with ad hoc doors and drawers that have the same stylistic features of the table and that is used to refrigerate drinks and heat food. The unit top is made of teak and glass. Towards the aft lies a large structural sofa that has a long sun bed in the central part, covered in striped light-blue and white fabric, while the sides are covered with a navy blue material. The cushions decorating it have white and blue patterns and tones.

Some structural modifications have been made to the sun deck of this stunning yacht. It has been elongated at the stern to make space for the touch-and-go helicopter landing pad, otherwise furnished with sun decks and coffee tables. This deck also includes a central living area with a large sofa and a coffee table as well as American cocktail bars under a retractable awning and a fly. Towards the bow there is a Jacuzzi and a large sun deck with two semi-circular sofas, each with a circular adjustable coffee table. The seat cushions are covered with beige fabric and the back cushions with white and red striped material with marine knots patterns.  All the freestanding furniture on the sun deck is made of natural teak.

INTERIORS

Among the peculiarities of the yacht Lady Trudy are certainly the interiors, which are finely furnished, representing a plunge into the American colonial sphere, with a touch of the romantic “Hampton style”, particularly loved by the ship owner, who has followed in detail all the phases of the designing and the furnishing together with the specifically dedicated CRN team.

The main features of the guest cabins are made of white ash wood while the construction details and the decorations are made of mahogany. Same wood is used for the crew quarters (dinette and cabins).

Each of the four guest cabins, that are according to the ship owner’s desires, is characterized by a dominant colour that is purposely linked to an American locality of the North Atlantic coast: cabin “Newport” for the VIP cabin at the bow where yellow is the predominant colour, cabin “Cape Cod” on the right towards the stern where green is predominant, the guest cabin “Mystic” on the left towards the stern with twin beds and a foldaway bed, where everything is in red and the after cabin “Nantucket” on the left which is blue. The name itself was embroidered for every cabin on big cushions that decorate the beds.

For this style, materials such as cotton and wrinkled linen characterize the decorations of all the interiors of the yacht. For instance, in the cabins there is a wide use of wrinkled material that gives an immediate feeling of softness.  The headboards in the guest cabins are all covered with a Ralph Lauren decorative fabric with marine patterns and each cabin has a white cotton carpet with vertical strips that reflect the dominant colour of the cabin itself.

Extreme aft lower deck, there is also a wide fitness area, overlooking the beach platform at sea level and it has a bathroom made of natural teak. The gym equipment is branded Technogym.

The master cabin is situated on the main deck. Its main characteristics, besides great luminosity, is the large four-poster bed made of dark mahogany with mocha-coloured leather headboards. The tones are beige for the carpet and the bed cover, as well as grey and brown.

There are two bathrooms, one for him with a shower and one for her with a bath, both covered in white ash and teak slats. The basins are made of San Gaudenzio stone while the taps are antique bronze colour, with a hammered effect.

A distinctive feature of the Navetta 43 Lady Trudy and the entire CRN fleet is the terrace in the master cabin, furnished like a balcony with a coffee table and armchairs where one can have breakfast, enjoyable even while sailing.

In the study, situated before the owner’s suite, lies a large desk by the wall, made of mahogany with a top covered in brown leather.  The large windows offer greater luminosity to the rooms. On the opposite side of the bulkhead there is a library and a built-in sofa bench, all made of white ash to contrast the rest of the room.  The patterned fabrics of the cushions have the same cream and beige tones of the master cabin.

Another feature of this yacht’s interiors are the Persian sliding bay windows found in the dining room, in the lobby upper deck and in the master cabin creating a warm and intimate atmosphere, creating a pleasant “home” effect.

The main hall of the main deck has an armchair made of natural wicker with white linen cushions from the American company Mc Guire and custom-made sofas in white linen keeping to the Colonial style, and a coffee table made of dark mahogany.
A central custom-made unit is found towards the stern of the living room and contains a built-in 46 inch TV.

Two libraries, predominantly in teal colour, furnish and separate the living room from the dining room with an electrical sliding door that has a “Venetian” pattern in white ash.

The dining room, that leads on into the main hall, is very interesting and pleasant, with a designed idea for the dining table that stands on two pedestals and columns and on top which is a hole filled with sand and shells all covered by a glass top. The table chairs are of the same MC Guire brand.

The bow bulkhead is furnished with wooden frames with black and white photos of scenes from everyday life in the United States of the fifties.

Further on, immediately after the main lobby, on the left, is kitchen in white ash wood entirely designed on the American model including all the appliances, especially the cooker unit from the French company LA CORNUE.

On the upper deck there is another big hall with custom-made L-shaped sofas, covered with white linen, and a central coffee table, as well as a game table next to the sofa. In addition, there is a high peninsula table in the hall towards the bow, not very far from the unit that contains a 55 inch LED TV with an electronic rotating device.

Luxury yacht Lady Trudy - Captain´s Cabin

Luxury yacht Lady Trudy - Captain´s Cabin

Through the lobby one can access the large full beam steering area with a separate radio room and a captain’s cabin.

Moreover, Lady Trudy is supported by an innovative, integrated entertainment system. An info and domotics system, called “myOlos”, has been developed through the partnership of the shipyard, Videoworks and Intel, to obtain on board functionality and a more user-friendly technology for the Clients of CRN. Through an iPod, this system manages and controls all the entertainment functions – including audio and video on demand – air-conditioning, on board monitoring, lighting and curtains.

On the lower deck, a garage on the starboard towards the stern with an electro-hydraulic shutter that holds a custom-made 5.80m NAUMATEC yacht tender and an engine room that precedes it, form the technical parts of the boat.

Lady Trudy is a masterpiece of design & made in Italy by CRN: the fusion of Italian style with American inspirations make this yacht very fascinating.

Works on the Moonen 100’ explorer yacht YN195 in progress

January 12, 2012

Moonen Shipyards in the Netherlands is making exceptional progress with the building of a long distance explorer-type motor yacht YN195. The all-new Vripack designed Moonen 100 YN195 superyacht is a robust exhibition-style vessel that features unique smooth lines. Mixing up major fuel efficiencies with comprehensive live aboard facilities, this compact Explorer will permit her owners – who are extensively involved in the construction – to truly travel the world in extraordinary comfort.

MOONEN 100' Explorer yacht YN195 designed by Vripack - Image courtesy of Vripack

Vripack and Moonen Shipyards have teamed up in specifying the concept for a Moonen repeat owner who plans to travel the world. Vripack has been responsible for the design, naval architecture, engineering and interior design, while Moonen takes care of the detailed and interior engineering of this gracious expedition vessel. The hull and superstructure are build and outfitting is scheduled to start in February. The yacht is slated for launching in the spring of 2013.

Because the Moonen 100 super yacht YN195 will travel exceptionally long distances Vripack Naval Architects designed her with high levels of fuel-efficiency that increase the range, reduce costs and minimise the yacht’s environmental impact. This has been achieved by an efficient hull shape, bulbous bow, sophisticated weight-saving measures, and highly efficient propellers and engines giving her a range of 5,000 Nm at 10 knots. Comfort is also given a priority, with low noise and vibration levels, an exceptional sea-keeping performance and impressive stability at anchor.

The layout of the luxury yacht YN195 features three large suites in order to optimise comfort for the passengers. There will also be a well-equipped gym in the lazarette for the necessary exercise during lengthy voyages, while the sundeck will have all the features of a normal displacement yacht. Vripack design Studio created an interior around a ‘caravan’ theme, taking the exotic colours of an Istanbul market, camels and eastern herbs as its inspiration.

The model of the new Moonen 100 YN195 will be on display during BOOT Düsseldorf at the Moonen´s booth located in the heart of the Dutch pavilion, Hall 07A number F24.
