This part of the site showcases news and information relating to new luxury yacht designs and design concepts as created and sent in by the large yacht designer community. Yacht design is the sometimes unheralded heart of the luxury yacht industry as this is where a large custom yacht begins her journey from conception to eventual launch and navigation.

CharterWorld keeps informed of the latest ideas, designs and technology in yachting as a pointer to where the yachting industry is heading. Some of the yacht designs in this section are general ideas or concepts that may never be built and become launched yachts whilst others have been commissioned and are currently in build or navigation.

By the end of 2010 the worldwide superyacht fleet is going to have changed quite markedly. The number, size and design advancements of luxury yachts to be launched (and already launched) this year has changed. This bulge in production began last year in 2009 and will continue into 2011.
