Activity throughout the Viking plant is never ending, and with three new luxury yacht models presently added to the production lines, the Viking shipwrights are busier than ever.

One new model gaining a lot of buzz on the docks and throughout the industry is the long anticipated 75 Motor Yacht, which launches late summer and will premiere at the fall boat shows. At the present time with the deckhouse in place, work is progressing on the interior, which features four staterooms, plus a fifth crew stateroom with private access from the stern.

West Coast Connection

Another of the new Viking models for 2015 is the incredible Viking 92 Enclosed Bridge Convertible yacht well on its way to completion in mid August. The Viking West Coast dealer, Stan Miller Yachts with offices in Newport Beach, Long Beach and San Diego, California, and Seattle, Washington, is building hull number two for the Offield family of California. Pausing in the galley of hull number one, John Buettner from Stan Miller Yachts, Chase Offield and Viking president Patrick Healey pore over plans for the next hull.

Quit Wishin’ and Get Fishin’

One of the most popular summer fishing tournaments is the Viking Ocean Showdown, scheduled for July 9-12, 2014. How popular, you ask? Now in its 25th year, this crowd pleasing event is all about family fun, with two days of fishing, a great cookout and pool party, and an awards dinner capped with a frenzy of super prizes and delectable eats at the luxurious Canyon Club Marina in Cape May, New Jersey.
