The new agent for Contest Yachts at USA East Coast has become Berthon USA, headquartered in Newport, Rhode Island. Berthon USA partners, Jennifer Stewart as well as Alan Baines, boast many years of experience in the sale of high end European brand sailing yachts and in assisting owners with their individual boat specifications and importation logistics.

Luxury sailing yacht Contest 72CS - the new flagship of the Contest fleet due to be launched this month

Jennifer and Alan are delighted to have partnered with Contest Yachts, whose strong values very much echo Berthon USA’s own. Alan Baines said: “We have known and admired Contest for quite a while, and are greatly looking toward to the US debut next year of the exciting new aft cockpit Contest 42CS”.

Family owned for 3 generations, Contest Yachts, based in Medemblik Holland, has been building for more than 50 years, a wide range of high quality performance cruisers from 42 feet to 72 feet, Contest Yachts has constantly kept up with new technology and innovation together in close cooperation with renowned designers as Georg Nissen (exterior) and Wetzel Brown Partners (interior), leading research institutes and the best suppliers.

Contest Yachts will launch in September the new flagship of the Contest fleet, the Contest 72CS yacht. Last but not least, the yard will introduce this autumn also her first motor yacht Contest 52MC.
