Since berths are scarce in popular sailing ports, the Bremen-based Drettmann Yachts is expanding its portfolio to comprise berth brokerage, as an addition to the sale of new as well as pre-owned yachts.

Port Adriano

Now, the Drettmann crew can save the customers’ time-consuming search for a suitable berth. Drettmann can currently offer berths at Port Adriano, Puerto Portals (Portals Nous) and Club de Mar in Mallorca, at the French Cap d’Ail just outside Monaco, at Maslinica Marina on the Croatian island of Solta, at Porto Montenegro in the vast fjord-like Bay of Kotor in Montenegro (non-EU) as well as Bremerhaven on the German North Sea coast.

The Mallorcan Port Adriano is looking good after a major refurbishment. The smart restaurants, bars and boutiques that are now located on the central mole directly in front of the yachts offer a fine selection of upmarket fashion labels, jewellery and sophisticated lifestyle products. The new part of the marina provides berthing for vessels of up 80 m all year round and up to 100 m in summer. There are various specialist service firms and a 250-t travellift. Distance to airport (Palma): 33 km.

Puerto_Portals

Puerto Portals has numerous restaurants and boutiques right beside the harbour and is one of the top yachting locations in Mallorca. There are a number of hotels and a golf course in the immediate vicinity. It is only a ten-minute car journey along the motorway to Palma. Distance to airport (Palma): 23 km.

Club_de_Mar

Club de Mar on the Paseo Maritimo in Palma de Mallorca is undoubtedly the grand old lady amongst the leading Mediterranean marinas – although old is certainly not an apt description. In recent years, the marina has invested considerable time and money in the certification of its quality management system, which includes not only social responsibility and commitment to sports, but also environmental aspects. Very few Spanish ports can live up to the stringent self-imposed environmental management standards in force at Club de Mar. Ever since it was first inaugurated, the services available at this marina have offered added value that is not only difficult to find elsewhere, but guaranteed to attract the attention of customers and visitors. Distance to airport (Palma): 12.5 km.

Cap_Dail

The port of Cap´d Ail on the French Côte d’Azur is often believed to be part of the Principality of Monaco, since it borders immediately on Monaco’s waterfront district of Fontvielle, which is also the only way to reach the marina on shore. As a comparatively quiet addition to Monaco’s other marinas of Port Hercule and Fontvielle, Cap d’Ail was originally designed for boats of up to 20 m. Meanwhile, the Bassin d’Honneur section can also accommodate superyachts of up to 60 m in length. There is a shipyard, various restaurants and two hotels immediately beside the marina. It is only a five-minute walk into Monaco where you can pick up provisions and explore the shopping mall beneath Grimaldi Palace. Distance to airport (Nice): 30 km.

Marina_Maslinica

Maslinica Marina on the Croatian island of Solta in the midst of the Kornati Islands only opened last year. Highlights on shore include the luxury hotel Martinis Marchi Heritage and its famous à-la-carte restaurant, both of which give the marina an exceptionally elegant ambience for this area with all the flair of the Côte d’Azur. Distance to airport (Split): 50 km (incl. ferry).

Porto_Montenegro

Côte d’Azur flair also applies to Porto Montenegro, a newly built marina in a fjord on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast. Nestling under high mountains, the marina is roughly 10 nautical miles from the open sea. This beautiful fjord is generally known as the Bay of Kotor and the marina already refers to itself as the Monaco of the Adria. Distance to airport: 4.7 km (Tivat), 87 km (Podgorica).

Im_Jaich

Bremerhaven Marina Im Jaich is located on the mouth of the Weser and Geeste on the German North Sea coast. The marina is close to Bremerhaven city centre and the ideal starting place for a trip on the North Sea or the tidal waters of the Frisian Wadden Sea. Distance to airport: 2.3 km (Bremerhaven), 68.5 km (Bremen).
