More details have been finally unveiled by the New Zealand based shipyard Alloy Yachts about their largest sailing yacht AY41.
AY41 is designed by Phillippe Briand and is 67.20 metres in length.
The designer was commissioned by the owner to design a performance sailing yacht capable of world cruising. AY41 superyacht has mast slightly longer than the yachts itself, measuring in length 67.90 metres, while the mizzen mast has a height of 62.40 metres.
In charge of the interior design is the renowned French designer Christian Liaigre, who in the past also designed the interiors of the 56 metre Rosehearty.
The Owner’s wish for the superyacht AY41 was to feel ‘Urban at Sea’. This magnificent sailing superyacht AY41 is due to be launched in December 2010.
