Australia’s presence at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2010

This year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will see an increased presence of the Australian Marine Industry representatives.

Australia’s leading internationally focused marine industry organisations, Australian Marine Export Group (AIMEX) and Superyacht Base Australia (SYBA), have joined forces to lead a contingent of Australian companies to one of the world’s largest and important boat shows.

The Australia-based company Aqualuma, a leading manufacturer of ultra-bright, long-lasting and low power-drawing underwater lights, has shown its support by confirming it will be a major a sponsor for the 2010 show.

“Australian manufacturers and boat builders are major players in the international market. They have developed an excellent reputation in the United States and are confident of success at Fort Lauderdale despite the difficult market” says AIMEX Chief Executive MaryAnne Edwards.

SYBA will be showcasing the Australian Superyacht industry and reinforcing Australian waters as an ideal cruising destination for the world’s superyachts plus promoting the quality of Australian workmanship for superyacht refit and repair work to these global customers.

This year’s show will take place October 28-November 1, 2010 at various locations in Fort Lauderdale. Florida.
