The Antibes Yacht Show was presented for the first time in April 2007 and is still considered a relatively new event in the industry. However, the Show already attracts visitors from 65 countries and this year’s event, taking place from April 12th to 15th, is expected to be bigger than ever.

The Antibes Yacht Show is the only event for superyacht brokerage, charter and refits held in the Mediterranean during spring.

New events this year include Yacht Hop Day, where brokers will exhibit their yachts in a fun and entertaining way to fellow brokers in the Show’s Bastion St Jaume marquee.

Lots of exhibitors also run competitions, games and giveaways on their stands.  This year a new late evening will take place on Friday 13th April where exhibitors will be able to welcome their clients and visitors until 9pm.

Yachting Pages, the leading directory for the superyacht industry, is exhibiting alongside other large brands including Bluewater Yachting, Fraser Yachts Monaco, and Aquamarine among others.

Tyrone Jones, brand and marketing manager at Yachting Pages commented: “We are very proud to once again support the Antibes Yacht Show. It is a key event in the superyacht calendar; we are looking forward to meeting captains and crew and showcasing the new YachtingPages´s website.

“Visitors to the Yachting Pages’ stand can also win an iPad, simply by reviewing a superyacht business on yachtingpages´s website. The lucky winner will get their own brand new iPad 3, kindly donated by Advanced New Technologies (ANT).”

There is also a Crew BBQ on Thursday 12th at 8pm, which is invitation only.  Seminars throughout the Antibes Yacht Show include ‘How Crew can help with chartering and selling yachts’, ‘When the VAT man comes knocking and Interpol does you for Money Laundering’, ‘Engineering, regulatory changes and management training rollout’, ‘learn what to recycle on board yachts’ and lots more.

Facilities at the Show include a number of dedicated venues with a Captains’ Lounge, Crew Lounge, Press Lounge and VIP Lounge.

Last year’s Antibes Yacht Show drew exhibitors from 14 different nations and attendees from 65 countries. Antibes’ attendance figures are rising each year, from 8,000 for its 2007 debut to 13,000 people in 2011. The event is now firmly-established as a key boat show for the global superyacht community.
