The charming 55-metre ELIXIR has just had her debut and has won this year’s exclusive Baccarat SuperYacht World Trophy the Monaco Yacht Show 2016. On top of the AMELS 180’s legendary seakeeping comfort and performance, ELIXIR also boasts wonderful connections to the sea.

ELIXIR is the latest addition to AMELS limited Editions range. The yacht has been built with all the preferences of the owner taken into account, with top quality and a week ahead of schedule. ELIXIR has spent her first summer in the Mediterranean with her owner and was now showcased as a very successful custom built superyacht.
Exterior designer Tim Heywood and interior designer Laura Sessa have worked closely with the owner to create ELIXIR’s “holistic design full of eccentric contrasts: dark meets light; masculine worldliness meets curvaceous elegance; relaxed comfort meets clean contemporary style”.
The jet black gloss has been faultlessly applied and contracts with the natural tone of the plaster white paintwork. The look is completed with the gleam of stainless steel railings and aft deck pillars, plus black sun awnings and uprights.
ELIXIR features spacious outdoor spaces with an amazing 25-metre Sun Deck with 3,000 litre Jacuzzi and luxury space of 155 square metres. Bridge Deck’s aft is a perfect spot for luxury dining. Beach club and sauna with large swimming platform add to stunning relaxation facilities on board.
Laura Sessa explained main idea of the interior design concept: “‘We want to give the guest a different impression in different spaces on board the yacht,” Laura explains. “The range of textures, the patterns of foliage, mother of pearl and marble were part of this scope. The contrast of light and dark woods – bleached maple to ebony Macassar – make the interiors very scenographic.”
