The yacht’s exterior is characterised by a split-level layout and was created to incorporate the Owner’s observation lounge, the terraces either side of the main deck and the addition of an extra helm station on the sun deck. Lady Christine yacht also features an impressive swimming pool situated on the main deck with an infinity pool effect. Her funnel (tower) is another interesting design element, positioned to enhance the freedom required for a helicopter to land.

With the exception of the guest suites and the original design for the cinema, which were designed by Jean Guy Vergès, the entire interior was penned by Rodney Black Design Studios. There are plenty of interesting features aboard Motor Yacht A, including the glass roof looking into one of the two swimming pools. There are three impressive swimming pools in total: one on the top deck, one on the aft deck and one situated on the foredeck. The latter is the largest of all and boasts water jets creating a current to swim against.

Accommodation is provided in one striking and spacious master suite and six guests suites. The massive rotating bed in the Owner suite is well worth the mention, together with the impressive use of glass and mirrors, also used extensively throughout the rest of the yachts. A crew of 42 highly skilled professionals looks after ‘A’ and her guests.

Amongst additional interesting features are the yacht’s stern and side hatches. Thanks to innovative engineering and design, the stern hatch opens up as a massive swim platform over the sea. There are several side garages hosting tenders, including the 11-metre main guest tender also designed by Philippe Starck. The touch-and-go helipad can be found forward on the cockpit area.
