The luxury yacht Canados 120’s interior combines a peculiar layout with a refined workmanship of the materials – oak, ebony, stone and titanium – and unusual solutions for dividing the space onboard. Grey is the dominant colour for the decor. The result is a rigorous and understated elegant interior design as just megayachts usually feature.

The interior of the first Canados 120 yacht was designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design. Her owner chose the Italian design studio for the interior layout and the decor.

By working on the 36-metre flybridge yacht Canados 120 Francesco Paszkowski Design returns to cooperate again with Canados as he used to do many years ago when designing Canados yachts at the beginning of his career.

The distinctive interior design features a peculiar layout and unusual architectural solutions for dividing space onboard. For the colours the choice  here is just for grey for all materials – oak, ebony, stone, glass. This colour is used in different shades evoking anyhow the tone of titanium, a material also used onboard.

“The result achieved in this yacht is due to the perfect agreement and the close cooperation between our studio, the owner, who chose us for his yacht interior, and the boatyard,” says Francesco Paszkowski. “The owner’s demands could be met, the shipyard accepted our proposals andalways committed hard to look for the solutions the technical aspects of material processing and layout required.”

Being a fully customized interior, the layout of the superyacht Canados 120 shows unique architectural solutions as the area forward of the saloon and the dining room on the main deck. Here the galley, the day-toilet and the access to the wheelstation are enclosed into a well-defined space. It is separated from the living and the dining room located aft on the main deck through coloured-grey glass sliding doors.

When not used by crew, the galley – designed by Boffi – can be hidden by lacquered panels which can be folded on both sides. The grey colour of the panels evoke the tone of titanium as any other material onboard. The two walls surrounding the galley feature a stone coating (processed on honeycomb )with a tridimentional effect. Thanks to the accurate lighting from behind this area seems to float in space.

An entertainment room is positioned forward on the main deck. The sofas are also customised so that this area can be turned into a Vip cabin with ensuite bathroom when needed. The entertainment room and the dining area take advantage of the fold-down terraces of the yacht.

A consistent design is evident everywhere on board Canados motor yacht Canados 120: grey-coloured oak is used for the walls and the floor, stone for the fireplace housing in the master cabins, ebony for the furniture tops and the tables, suède for the bedheads.

The lower deck is dedicated to the owners and guest accomodation with 3 cabins – two master suites and a twin-beds guest cabin. A system of sliding panels in linen can divide the space in the owner’s suites without creating a permanent separation. They can hide the basin bathroom area or separate the bedroom from the studio. The crew quarter is located forward.
