Mulder Shipyard is pleased to announce that they have signed a contract to construct a 34-metre motoryacht. The new 34m Mulder yacht is to be the yard’s largest yacht constructed to date as well as their first yacht over 300 GT. With the order of the new 34m Mulder superyacht, the total number of vessels under build is now at seven. Mulder 73 Flybridge yacht, a Mulder Favorite 1300 Cabrio yacht tender and a Mulder 75 Wheelhouse yacht have already been delivered by the Mulder Shipyard earlier this year.

British design agency Claydon Reeves will be responsible for both interior and exterior design of the 34 metre Mulder custom built, steel displacement yacht and the naval architecture will be the work of the Dutch Van Oossanen Naval Architects. Obviously the Mulder 34 metre yacht will be built to superyacht standards. The Mulder has a GT from 315 tons and will be built under RINA LY3, MCA classification and transatlantic range. She will enjoy many features that are usually only associated with far larger yachts, in both operations and design, and will surpass the highest expectations.

Spectacular views

The new Mulder 34m Yacht has a contemporary style with classic details. The plumb bow runs aft with a gently stepped shear.  The aluminium superstructure blends subtle lines with flush glass, rising gently towards the stern.  The 34 metres long and 8 metres wide yacht accommodates eight guests in two VIP staterooms and a further two double cabins that can convert to twins – all with en-suite facilities.  The VIPs offer two distinct environments, one being full beam on the lower deck with large portholes and an outlook close to the water’s surface. The other VIP cabin forward on the main deck features a large window directly above the bed to give you a wonderful view of the stars at night. The yacht can accommodate up to seven crew members.

The interior welcomes you on the main deck aft with the main saloon enclosed by full height opening glass panels so you never feel completely separated from the water. On both sides of the dining room there is full height glass to maximise natural light in this area. In order to add a further 50% of external space to the dining room, the glass windows on the starboard side can open leading to a balcony folding down from the bulwark. This ensures a spectacular view during dining.

Quality

The agreement for the 34 metre Mulder was developed in close collaboration with IYR in Monaco. IYR broker William Molloy: “We suggested suitable northern European yards renowned for their quality for a project of this nature. Mulder Shipyard, with their brand new facility, impressed both us and our clients.” The Mulder 34 metre motor yacht is expected to be delivered in the summer of 2015.
