Aegean Yacht announced today, that two of their new building projects, the 28 m Aegean Motor Yachts are now under construction. The two hulls are completed and the 28 m Aegean Superyachts are due to be delivered towards the end of 2011.

The motor yachts have steel hulls & superstructures with teak laid decks.They will be powered by 2 x 700 HP YANMAR engines which will allow the vessels to manage a maximum speed of 16 knots. Thanks to the YANMAR engines’ less fuel consumption and 14000 lt fuel tank capacity, the yachts’ maximum range will be 1200 nautical miles.

The interiors of both 28 metre yachts can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 en-suite cabins with additional space for 6 crew in her 1 double captain’s cabin & 1 crew cabin.The owners suite is situated at the main deck.Identical two double and two twin bedded guest suites are located at the accommodation deck on either side of the central corridor.
