A General Description of Motor Yacht YAAKUN

This motor yacht YAAKUN is a 65 metre 213 (ft) impressive steel vessel which was fashioned at Cantieri Navali Nicolini and conceived from the design board of Nicolini. Sleeping 12 passengers and 20 professional crew, motor yacht YAAKUN was registered as Al Menwar. The naval architecture office responsible for her design with respect to the yacht is Nicolini. In addition, the interior designing is sucessful creation of Claudio Zampetti.

The yacht was constructed by Nicolini Shipyard in Italy for a Middle Eastern Royal Family. She was then purchased and refitted by an European owner for a worldwide blue water voyage. The yacht has a voluminous and high specification interior.

Construction & Yacht Design relating to Luxury Yacht YAAKUN

Nicolini was the naval architect involved in the formal superyacht plans for YAAKUN. Her interior design was conceived by Claudio Zampetti. Nicolini is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. Italy is the country that Cantieri Navali Nicolini constructed their new build motor yacht in. After the formal launch in 1987 in Ancona the boat was thereafter passed over to the owner following final finishing. A spacious proportion is brought about with a maximum beam (width) of 9.75 m or 32 ft. With a 2.62m (8.6ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably shallow. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is fashioned with the use of aluminium. In 2004 extra refitting and modernisation was in addition finished.

As for the yacht’s stabalisers she uses Vosper.
